Item Battle

The Basics

Item Battle is a turn based first person PvP game.

Prior to joining a lobby, you may customize your character, and must select an Item Deck in the field provided (either from a preset or your own copied list). Each Item shown in the menu will have three copies included in your Item Deck in-game.
All legal items can be found on the next page, including their type and what they do.
Please note that any illegal items or empty slots in your ItemList will be filled in with Sad Faces , which do nothing.

A full item list can be found here. Please review the items before playing. This list is the only way to know what they do outside of trial and error.

Prior to each round starting, players are given a chance to position themselves within the Pre-Match Starting Cage™, thus deciding where they will begin the game.

Once the round begins, each player draws 6 items from their deck, and play begins with the host player.
At the beginning of your turn, your Stamina is refilled, you are given 1 Action for the turn, and you draw a card (unless you're the very first player, in which case you will not draw on the first turn).

Over the course of your turn, you may move until your Stamina runs out, and play Items based on their restrictions:

Type Border Color Description
Item White border May only be used on your turn, and consume 1 Action per use
Cantrip Blue border Do not consume Actions, but still must be used on your turn
Reaction Yellow border Do not consume Actions, and may be played either on your turn, or another player's
Structure Gray border Behave identically to white border items, but must be placed in a free space on the board, and can never be used outside of your turn
dimension Green border Behave identically to grey border items, but when placed will cause the arena to transform to a specific Dimension, of which only one may be active at a time
Creature Red border Behave identically to green border items, but also have HP which can be reduced like a player and act on their own
Unusable Black border If you are so unlucky to find one, cannot be played.

If for whatever reason you have no Items to use, or would not like to use one, you may click on another player with no Item selected to spend 1 Action to smack them.

Once you have done everything you wanted to do on your turn, press the 'E' or 'U' key on your keyboard, and the turn will pass to the next player.

Please note that falling out of the arena, whether by your own error or another player's machinations, will result in a penalty; you will lose 50 HP and grant 50 Score to the last player to hit you.
Some items may grant Score on their own, but additionally, whenever you deal damage to another player, you gain that much Score.

Halfway through the round (after 5 turns have passed in a standard match), a Halftime event occurs, which is a random event designed to shake up the game.

You will continue play in this manner until each player has taken a total of 10 turns, at which point points are awarded. At the end of the round, the player with the highest round score will be awarded 1 point. Some Items may trigger a Special Win, granting an extra point to whoever triggered it, and ending the round prematurely. After a round ends, the board is cleared and each player's Item Deck is reset, then each player is teleported back into the Pre-Match Starting Cage™ to prepare for the next round.

After 2 rounds have been played, if the game is a tie, a third round will begin. If the game is not at a tie at the end of any round from then onwards, the winner will be announced.

Good luck, and may the best swag money item master win!
